Installations at restaurants are becoming a recent trend. It entertains the guests and becomes a great factor in bringing them back to the restaurant by constantly changing the installation. Fabric and other soft materials are often chosen by designers for this type of installation because of the lightweight quality which eases set up and creates movement to amuse the guests’ eyes.
This installation at café-gallery located in London was made with a dense nylon mesh with two layers of translucent frames. It looks almost completely weightless and free from gravity.
‘The materials needed to be floppy but not too flexible, to enable the dynamic formation under gravity,’ the designer explains.
This installation will be on display until July 1st at Tina, We salute You.
