Folded Fashion

This origami dress by Diana Gamboa showcases the use of paper in creating a beautiful garment.  The precise folding creates detail in shape, shadow and texture.  By going in the direction of simple white, each fold and shadow is elegantly pronounced.

Although paper is not a common material seen in fashion, similar materials are used to enhance environments.  One such material is Chenel Honeycomb.  This non-woven material creates folds that can cover ceilings or create walls.  The texture it forms adds interest to environments and can be enhanced by unique shape or with lighting.
