2013 is here and it’s glamorous.  Designers are pushing the limits by using materials in unconventional ways.  Take, for instance, these rockin’ heels by Alexander McQueen.  The combination of shape, sparkle and material choice act like eye candy for any shoe connoisseur.  Most interesting, though, is the material itself.  Covering the face of the foot is an open mesh divided six ways.  This material and pattern was prevalent in this seasons collection- from shoes, to hats, to the garments themselves.

Where have we seen this material?  Oh yes… HexiMesh.  The material most commonly seen in canopies and other ceiling treatments.  So, what if rather than being simply the material that lets water permeate, HexiMesh became the focal point; the covering that grabs attention while dressing the environment and the brand.  Heximesh has a personality all its’ own and it is one that can captivate any environment.
