Spring may feel like a lifetime away, but the inspirations we can derive from the fashions are already here. As usual, there is a plethora of unique design and integration of cool textiles.  One style of textile that is making a run for its money is mesh. For the Balenciaga Spring 2015 collection, Alexander Wang took a breath of large, open meshes in various sizes and colors and made them the key design component for many of the garments. Inspiration for the feminine yet edgy collection came from the Tour de France and the cyclist’s functional clothing.

In environments, it is common to see mesh used for ceiling canopies. It is often due more to functionality than to aesthetics. But what if you take the personality that mesh offers and use it in an unexpected way? Creating that WOW factor can be achieved through layering mesh and combining unexpected materials. Contrast is not only found in color, but with textures as well. Push the limits and see what you can achieve with the addition of mesh. There is more than one style available! Ask about the sizes and colors that are available.
