Lighting and 3D printing- Two technologies that are constantly evolving. Now, with the help of US based Rohinni, the two technologies are being brought together. Lightpaper is a razor thin, flexible, 3D printed light paper. The technology is innovative, combining ink and tiny LED’s which are printed out on a conductive layer and then sandwiched between two other layers, lit up with LED current.

This new form of technology is a way to print light and apply it to nearly any surface, in any shape. While still a new technology, it is a little ways off from being released to the common consumer. But, when it is, which could be as soon a mid-2015, consider the possibilities for incorporating light into your environment.
