With the start of spring only weeks away, but the remnants of winter still in the air, it seems an odd coincidence that Suede is one of the big trends of the season.  Designers including Jason Wu, Miu Miu, Gucci and Valentino are among the many who are bringing this material center stage.   Although considered a cold-weather material, the designs are dainty and spring-like, with clean lines and soft shapes.

Suede has a fine pile that is able to morph to many personalities; from soft and delicate or hard and edgy.  This diverse demeanor adds character.  Outside of fashion, this character can create a memorable connection within a host of environments, such as office spaces and event settings.  The texture of Suede creates a tactile experience for participants, while the color and styling enhance visual stimulation.  A host of Suede-like materials are available that can bring a new styling of life to a design.
