Embossing makes the Difference

Embossing, a method of mechanically adding a physical texture to a material, is showing up in some unexpected ways.  One of my favorite examples is the Skai line of embossed materials designed for upholstery use.  The updated patterns which include an upscale quilted look and faux stitch lines on rich leather look materials really can draw your attention.  I couldn’t help but touch each swatch.

Though it would look great on upholstery, this material could also make a grand statement in groove panels as an oversize wall covering.  Instead of using traditional (aka. boring) fabrics to divide up your work environment, pillowcase this material for a modern, upgraded look that is sure to inspire creativity.
