As a student at Nottingham Trent University, Elizabeth Danielle combined layering with laser cutting to form a representation of vulnerability counteracted with armor to create empowerment. The sharpness of the geometric laser cutting reflects control and defiant presence.
Although simple and minimal in nature, the laser cutting has a powerful effect. It creates personality, and interest. This added detail turns the visual experience into a tactile masterpiece. The incorporation of laser cutting showcases innovation and is a unique technique that can be utilized to add simple patterns or even branding.
Allison has had a lifelong interest in multiple facets of design. Growing up between a sewing machine and a sketch pad, she went on to fine-tune her skills through studies in fine arts and fashion design. Upon entering the design/build industry, she continuously researches trends in various markets, including retail, hospitality, exhibitory/events, interiors and architecture in order to provide valuable educational and inspirational resources to clients.
