One cannot go through a day without being exposed to hundreds of different textures. How does your brain process them and how do these textures impact your decisions? The same object can take on very different personalities while still maintaining a uniform impression when textures come into play. A brick road will change a travel experience in contrast to a newly crafted concrete surface.
Can the same be applied to the textures you can get from soft substrates? I imagine an entrance to a space will be experienced in different ways if velour is used versus a voile. How about a graphic printed on the lustrous slippery surface of Satin versus one printed on the coarsely textured Poly Cube fabric; would you interact with it differently?
