New Purpose for a 100 Year Old Tub

These classic clawfoot tubs are reused in an unexpected way by designers such as Jared and Jill Morrison.  The bath tubs, dating back to the early 1900s, are given new life through some strategic cutting, painting and the addition of colorful cushions.    These pieces were designed for an American Spirit Tobacco marketing tour, but could easily be converted for new purposes by simply changing out the fabric.  Imagine adding a custom printed cushion to compliment other fabrics in the room or adding a sparkly red vinyl to add to the retro flair.
