Inside the Vodafone retail store in Ostrava, Czech Republic, designed by IO Studio, is a non-traditional experience for guests.  The brand’s logo plays a prominent role.  It was taken from a 2D graphic to a 3D irregular helix form.  The architecture dynamically surrounds and defines the layout of the 240 m2 space, creating zones.

The architecture is a great example of creating form and interest within an open retail space.  It breaks from tradition by eliminating the typical rows of shelves.  Instead, the complex shape greets guests before they begin their path of discovery within the store.

While the architecture is created out of a hard form material, fabric stretched over frame would also bring a design of this nature to life.
